HALIBURTON HEIGHTS - Living with Nature

At HALIBURTON HEIGHTS, care is taken to ensure the roads follow nature's contours as closely as possible and that as few trees as possible are cut while the streets are being built.

The lakes bounded by HALIBURTON HILLS and HEIGHTS are accessible to all residents by parklands. Flat Lake has graveled walking trails while Elbow Lake parkland has a gazebo, grassed area and a boardwalk. A stroll in the parkland is a perfect way to put the day in perspective. Deer sightings are common and the squirrels and birds feel right at home with their human neighbours.

Alongside the subdivision is a strip of hundreds of acres of Crown parkland with miles of woods roads. This is an excellent recreation area for walking, jogging, bikes or pets! The Buckingham Common playground has a brand new basketball pad and there are double tennis courts in the subdivision.

For summer time beach lovers, Queensland is only 15 minutes away and there is a summertime pool at the nearby St. Margaret's Arena.
